Results are reported with relevant field observations, interpretation of the significance of the data, and recommendations for improved controls where appropriate. The following services are available:
• Comprehensive Occupational Hygiene surveys designed to address specific objectives and give maximum value data in the most cost-effective way. Capabilities include personal exposure and fixed location sampling for dusts, fumes, gases, vapours, noise, thermal environment.
• Examination and testing of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) plant, as required under COSHH and similar legislation
• Environmental emissions monitoring of releases to atmosphere, including process vent monitoring for VOC’s, particulates and specific contaminants, and fugitive emission losses from process equipment
• Environmental noise monitoring to meet IPPC requirements
• Investigation of “difficult” (undefined) health and safety or environmental problems (e.g. odours, indoor air quality)
